With over 20 years of experience and more than 300 clinical trials under our belt, we have become, with time and experience, very good at conducting local trials. So good in fact, that we help other sites around the country conduct research through our Site Maintenance Organization (SMO) capabilities. We also work with pharmaceutical companies and CROs on study design, since we’ve seen just about all of them by now, and know, on a practical “in-the-trenches” level, which are likely to succeed and which appear doomed to (expensive) failure. In 2019 we established Ki Clinical Research, a boutique clinical research organization (CRO), primarily aimed at small and mid-size biotech and pharma companies who have had enough of the incredibly costly big CROs. We work as a Rapid Research Organization, saving study time and money.  In 2025 we establish a strategic relationship with biopharma VC fund London Growth Capital, Ltd., to both finance and run trials of ground-breaking significance, particularly first-in-class assets and platforms.

Here at the New England Institute for Clinical Research, our dedicated staff is involved in numerous Phase I – Phase III (and occasionally Phase IV, if we believe there is sufficient scientific merit) clinical trials in all aspects of neuroscience research in adults and children, including neurology, psychiatry and pain, as well as non-neuroscience areas such as urology and rheumatology and immunology.

We have all the “bells and whistles” you would expect from a high-caliber research organization, including full laboratory capabilities (locked storage, on-site phlebotomy, sub-zero refrigerator, EKG, digital scales, refrigerated and non-refrigerated centrifuges, etc.) as well as high-speed internet and HIPPA compliant electronic medical records access and conference room space for study monitors. We are all GCP trained and certified, and up to date on all the latest scales used in pharmaceutical and biotech research.
